She is only one person in the crowd
yet the weight she carries is familiar to us all.
A bag that holds more than belongings
a phone pressed close with words that cannot be delayed.
We have all walked this way at some point.
Trying to look composed while juggling everything unseen.
Hoping no one notices how heavy the day has become.
In her stride there is the strength of someone who knows
the world will not slow down for her and so she keeps moving.
Just as we do.
