Not every presence in town belongs to people. Sometimes it’s a dog who carries themselves like they own the square.
This one walked with a kind of dignity, coat groomed to perfection, each step measured as though he had rehearsed it. Heads turned as he passed, but he seemed above it all, as if the crowd were simply part of his stage.
You could imagine him belonging to a grand house once, waiting by the fire for the sound of carriage wheels. Or perhaps he’s simply a local, parading the high street like it’s a runway, reminding us that style isn’t just for people.
