The banks of the River Weaver came alive this weekend as Northwich hosted its vibrant annual River Festival. A celebration of local spirit, friendly competition, and family fun. Organised by the Rotary Club of Northwich, in partnership with Visit Northwich, the festival brought together hundreds of visitors for a day packed with dragon boat racing, live music, community stalls, family activities, and incredible street food.
I was proud to cover the event through both drone photography and street-level documentary images, capturing everything from the riverside energy to intimate candid moments that tell the full story. From the roar of the crowds to quiet conversations in the shade, every frame aimed to celebrate what makes this event so cherished in the local calendar.
The Rotary’s work behind the scenes made the day run seamlessly raising funds for important causes while giving families and friends a chance to come together and enjoy Northwich at its best.
